Good news for me now.
My 1st parcel was sent sent out 14th September and was picked up by DHL in HK yesterday. Now it's stuck in Germany. It will probably be delivered to me tomorrow.

Someone said that DHL will not work now, but guess what...
My 2nd parcel was sent out 19th September and it was picked up and fully processed by DHL in HK today
It will probably also be delivered to me tomorrow.

My 3rd parcel was sent out 25 September via EUEXP. This will be delivered to me today or tomorrow.

3 of MY packages are still sitting in HK Since Tuesday, September 23, 2014
Small packages arrive without a problem, big boxes are not moving:-(

This is what I found on other websites:
"Customs is checking 90%+ of vehicles....entering the DHL facility. Affected buyers will see only the tracking event Shipment Information Received and may think they are being scammed by their suppliers. They are not. It's a legit issue for suppliers and there isn't anything they can do."

The problem will be further exacerbated because of the National Golden Week holiday. "Oct 1-7 is a 7 day national holiday in China....So, once this clears up....boom....7 more days of supply shortage...

I have a 28kg box sitting in HK awaiting shipment by DHL to AU since the 23rd September.

Given eBay sales are slow here right now, I'm not as concerned as I normally would be.

Looks like Chinese customs are working through the holiday.

Just had my Dhl package clear shenzhen customs - it's been stuck there since 19th

It's now in Hong Kong waiting to be loaded on tonight's dhl flight to Heathrow and should arrive in the UK tomorrow.

I have a package coming with DHL

and it is in this situation:

And when i call DHL at my country they are telling me that the shipment has not been picked up from the supplier please contact your supplier, when i contact the supplier she told me that the box was sent already.

who should i believe?

ON SINGAPORE POST my status is still information received..

maybe after chinese holiday my item will get through customs

My shipment from Sept 13th has just been released and the tracking info has updated. Also my shipment from Sept 11th has been delivered.

Nope! 2 packages sent last saturday arrived on Friday. EMS doesn't fly via HK so there path's bit smooth although the volume might have increased due to many re-routes. Hope that helps!

they both are right because the goods have been picked from the seller by local dhl agent but not reached DHL hub yet for official DHL to pick it up and scan for the update to change and specially because of the incident there are so many packages awaiting. You could ask your seller whereabouts of your parcel so they can check with the agent because from the city your seller is in to HK there will be another city and custom check there too.

I have the same scenario, very same answers from DHL and seller. Mine was shipped on 13th, changed date to 28th and still today shipment info received.

Last Sept 22, I asked the seller if there's a way to change courier to FEDEX, EMS or something. She said she'll just resend it to Singapore post. On the 23rd, she gave me tracking number and I was able to track it on the 25th saying "Notification of shipment confirmation" till today.

Well, I don't know if I'll believe the seller if she really send again another item because it's a bit expensive. The seller is trusted seller and I personally know a person who had a smooth transaction with her last month.

Its true. The DHL and customs are not on holiday. My package was just picked up .

I also had a delay with DHL from HK... And seller said customs takes extra measures.

My supplier for a year told me EMS is fine, but mines been at GUANGZHOU Despatch from Sorting Center, which although isn't the same as yours on parcel force website says it's been forwarded and my supplier (before going on holiday) said it means it's been forwarded. This was the 27th and nothing so far. Considering changing supplier if he knowingly lied to me.

Has the tracking number changed when you enter the CN tracking number into it? My previous orders all done this when hit the UK and changed with GB on the end. My one that is stuck is still showing CN so know that not here yet and still over there.

It's still CN EMS says "Despatch from Sorting Center"
Parcel force says "Forwarded for export" on 27th. I'm thinking that it hasn't left China and i'm hoping to see an update after Monday when people are back to work. Or at least an inquiry from my supplier because he isn't answering me now that it's holiday season.

Not sure how hard it is to answer questions on your phone just because it's holiday season. Whole country goes to a stand still... I will consider taking my business else ware unless he gives me a decent discount in the future. Paid 2 weeks ago on Monday.

Exactly the same as mine then. We see Monday what happens to It. My supplier has got back to me and going to look into it too

Good, let me know what happens. I'm not sure if my supplier knew about EMS, but he has been good in the past and told me what products that have had complaints before selling them to me, so I think he's honest. It's hard to know. I'm guessing I will hear from mine on Monday, but it would be nice to get the packages before next weekend, or at least know when it will be here.

It's the not knowing that is the worst.

It seems the china customs is flagging some of the packages for usa customs. Out of 6 packages, I only recieved 3 and other 3 are stuck in customs. The 3 I recieved , 2 boxes had a big C written on the side.

I can tell that many cn suppliers "lie" about this but they dont want you to get mad most of the times, i understand your frustration but if you have good source i suggest you keep it, cause the only reason they lie is cause they are afraid of loosing a few dollars (small money for most but not cn suppliers) sure i can afford some more expensive supplier but leaving a hardworking supplier for something they cant control? Thats bad business for both of you most times.

Tell him you dont like lies and lies will end your business together :)

Last week i heard of cincinnati delays, dont know if i read it on this forum or another but i suggest you call them as soon as possible

Does anyone know what EMS "Notification of shipment confirmation" means?
The tracking status of my order has been like that since September 24th 2014 and hasn't changed ever since.

dont say it please. No one can control it. Also supplier are in a pain. They are loosing the confidence from customers and its not hir&hr fault.
please, be patient. After 1 week holiday and with thousands parcels delayed, it will take a Little time for to be normal.
